Today
2012
In the year in which it completes 70 years of operation, Santa Helena makes the largest investment ever made, and takes its biggest step in the renovation of the industrial park, with the inauguration of the new industrial plant for the production of its entire line of savory snacks. The new building has 26m high, high capacity and vertical production process, state-of-the-art equipment and consolidates Santa Helena as the largest peanut products industry in Latin America.
2011
In 2011, Santa Helena established its board of directors and corporate governance as a management model. Launch of the 1st diet chewable bullet from Brazil.
2007
In 2007, it launched important products that became a reference in its current portfolio, such as Crokíssimo Crunchy Peanuts and Paçoquita Diet, glimpsing markets and following global consumption trends.
2001
In 2001, Santa Helena reopens its peanut processing unit in the city of Dumont, with important investments to guarantee the quality and origin of its main raw material. In the same year, ABICAB’s Pro-Peanut seal was created with the support of Santa Helena, which guarantees the origin of the raw material and attests to the good manufacturing processes of the peanut products industries.
1999
Inauguration of the new Peanut Processing Unit in Dumont, with a built area of 6,500m2, considered one of the largest peanut processing units in Latin America.
1997
From that year on, the company was managed by one of Paschoal Fechino’s children and his wife. With the objective of conquering new markets and expanding, Santa Helena starts exports to markets such as Japan and Central America.
1990
Another great reference of Santa Helena’s product in the market was born in 1990, Mendorato – The Japanese Golden Peanut. In a few years, it gains market leadership and is recognized for its differentiated quality.
1982
In 1982, Paçoquita was launched, which would become the great brand of Santa Helena products. In order to differentiate itself by the high quality in relation to the products of its segment at the time, Paçoquita soon pleased the Brazilian consumer, becoming an icon of tradition and Brazilianness.
1982
In 1982 there was the second major change in the Santa Helena industrial plant due to the company’s growth. With a shortage of space for expansion on Rua Goiás, the managers build the company’s new facilities in the city’s industrial park. In October of that year, the new factory was inaugurated with an almost exclusive focus on peanut-based products.
1977
With the passing of TEM Helena was gaining structure and the number of machines and employees was increasing. In 1977, the factory was managed by two of Paschoal Fechino’s sons
1958-1960
In 1958, no longer able to work due to age, José Marques Telles negotiated the sale of the company to his son-in-law, Paschoal Fechino, who continued the production and sale of the products. In 1960, all facilities were moved to Rua Goiás in an expanded space.
1942
Santa Helena was founded in Ribeirão Preto by José Marques Telles in March 1942 in a family structure, assisted by three of his children. With little equipment, he started the production of sweets for street vending, which was directed to small establishments in the city. In a short time there was an increase in sales and production and the first employee was hired, in addition to the acquisition of other equipment to assist in the activities.
